I lost my job, during the COVID19 period which was within my job probation period. I have had this insurance subscription with Realm Protection (also known as Trent Services and also known as Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicate Limited) for over a year now, and had been paying the premium before i even got a new job late last year. I continued paying for the income protection insurance after i got a new job ( the company where i just got made redundant) and even informed Realm Protection (also known as Trent Services and also known as Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicate Limited) them when i got my new job) about the new job over the phone. Now when i needed them the most during this COVID-19 period when I have lost my job, they have refused to pay the income protection. The value of the payment is not even upto 40% of my gross monthly salary, as I had gotten it to help prevent me from loosing my house incase i ever loose my job. Yet they refuse to payout. What is the use of getting an INCOME PROTECTION insurance if the insurance company has a strategy and system that prevents you from getting paid in such a difficult time. I feel hung out to dry by this company.

i have cancer and unable to work ive had this policy since 2015 getting them to pay out is a joke ! my policy should pay out after 30 days two and a half months now i have been waiting i have supplied everything they asked for now they want full medical records but cant post any forms i have no printer or computer they have already had a sick note plus a report from my doctors telling them when i was diagnosed and why i couldnt work but that's not enough apprently. I also told this company when i was diagnosed with cancer and they never asked for anything then which would of been easier to supply. They wait until everything is on lockdown before they request everything. Totally useless policy !! particularly if you have cancer
