Didn’t pay out for everything claimed for (don’t forget to read the small print) but overall acted fairly competently.

Contacted our insurers whilst on honeymoon in Vietnam, claim registered and dealt with promptly at that stage. On return to the uk I was advised after many phone call attempts that I had to re-register the claim through another department, they advised me to complete the form online which was not fit for purpose and then I spent ages trying to contact them again to send the form out in the post, I then had to submit my claim including all documents, following that the claim was processed quite quickly however after receiving the confirmation of pay out amount I only received half. I then spent over a week attempting to contact them via phone making over 100 calls, and also 3/4 emails before finally successfully contacting them by phone (my emails although automatic confirmation received of receipt were never responded to) after speaking to someone they couldn’t understand why I hadn’t received the full amount quoted and advised they would authorise the remaining payment, I am currently waiting for this to be paid.
Received Claims Forms by email. Fairly easy to fill in. Returned by email and got the full settlement within two weeks.
Poor service, almost 2 months without receiving money which has subsequently been taken out of my own account leaving me with difficulties.
I’ve been Asked to review before receiving any settlement. Was advised receipt they was emailed as pdf not received. Although in same email as full documents
Settlement took around 4 weeks, updates during the process was slow and needed prompting from myself.
Throughout the claim process everyone we spoke to at insurefor were helpful and professional. I was delighted with their service.
