Very help-full
Quick and easy dealing with my claim.
Poor communication, significant delay on email responses.
Global response looked after me well while I was away & settled most bills direct with medical centre at resort. Just waiting for settlement of bills I paid myself which I claimed on my return.
Lana &Alex from medical dept. were fantastic. They organised return flights, taxi promptly after my children were discharged from the hospital. Im over the moon with the service. I recommend to leave it to the insurers to organise all issues directly. Less hassle.
Found the claiming process to be made very difficult by the company. Only contactable via email, very specific requirements for supporting documents, feel this is to put you off claiming. On receiving a response for my claim they have ignored the back up information I included and told me to send e11 to the hospital directly, when I have already informed them and the hospital that I don't have one, therefore the insirance should cover the claim. Have raised this via email weeks ago and I am still awaiting a response. Pay the extra and stick with a retritable supplier.
Policy states - personal money £750 Cash - £300 I had stolen 400 euros but was only paid £300. When I queried the difference between personal money(which this was) and cash, I wasn't given a satisfactory answer and am still waiting
When phone no one can tell you about your claim just to say it's takes 10 days
I started a claim with global response in vienna on 2/4/19 and submitted all my documents on 30/4/2019 to reactive claims. I am still waiting for a decision and have had no advice or help from either company so far. They have offered no advice when I was in vienna on how to organise things and no decision yet aide since I returned to the UK. Very poor service.
I was unable to travel to Europe for a holiday due to a bout of food poisoning. Total value of the claim was around £360 - all receipted. However the contract says I need to get a medical certificate from a GP. I would not get an appointment with a GP within 48 hours and by the time I got to see the GP and wasted their precious time to complete a medical certificate - I would be better and they would have to take my word for it that was in fact to ill to travel. I received a response to my claim and the computer says no. So I will be taking the claim further costing all involved more than the value of the claim but sometimes principles are important.
