Missed my flight and my claim got rejected.

I have switched from post office insurance to this crap insurance company thinking that I would get good value for money but when I missed my flight and made a claim, it got rejected even though it was covered but they come up with strict conditions that makes it impossible to claim for it. I had the same issue before with post office instance and I got the full money back with no hassle. Avoid

Quick and

An easy and clear process to make a claim, dealt with quite quickly , within 3 weeks, my only complaint is that they have exchange rate at time of payment, and not at time of claim, so we were £12 out of pocket, but small price to pay for ease of claim

Poor Service

Minor claim which should have been settled within days rather than weeks - money stolen supported by police report, but was constantly asked for unnecessary documentation and never received any response when I sent the plethora of documents. Have a trip to USA later this year so used another insurer.

Disappoint

We were all poorly away in magaluf 4 out of 6 had to visit the medical centre and 1 a doctor out and they won’t allow me to claim anything back even though I paid excess they want to pay it again to them so then I’m left with not a penny

Hospital treatment abroad

I was taken I’ll on holiday in Turkey and needed to seek medical assistance. I went to hospital and was admitted straight away. My partner rang the insurance and they confirmed it was ok to receive the treatment and they liaised with the hospital to pay for the treatment directly, removing any stress for me whilst I was ill. They also confirmed that if I had to stay longer than the holiday was originally booked, they would sort out accommodation and replacement flights for us, luckily we didn’t need this service

Mixed

The part of the claim that was handled by Global Response was excellent. The rest of the claim handled by Reactive Cliams was very slow, it took them 2 weeks to respond to every email. I was not reimbursed for unused ski pass and ski hire despite having winter sports cover.

The Trial

We waited far too long for resolution of our claim. The on line claim form was difficult to complete as on many occasions I would fail to complete the stupid and and indistinct american photographs question and have to go back and try to convince the computer of the veracity of my identity, again and again.
