No problem with submitting claim which was appreciated owing to worrying times regarding my health

I initially opened this claim while still on holiday and sent the asked for paperwork by email. On return I contacted the relevant department and was asked for the paperwork again plus copies of my policy and additional personal information which had not been requested at the time of buying the policy. This was very time consuming and stressful for the small amount of money claimed.

Sent all information needed phoned up to say will i need medical certificate because i have death certificate they told me no 2weeks later told me i needed one.
although the form filling was a little bit of hassle the firm contacted me to say they had received the forms and were going ahead. I was very pleasantly surprized when they again got in touch less than two weeks later to say that all was well ind monies would be paid back within 7 working days.!! very well done.

Although Communication on progress of claim needs to be improved, I had no idea it was accepted until I recieved an email confirmation. Overall I can not fault the service. Easy form to fill in, email it back and thats all that's needed

Some of the questions that came back after submitting the form should be included in the form. I.e. a question asks “why were you unable to go on your trip” to which I simply responded “I broke my collarbone” A follow up question on the form could be “If you incurred an injury preventing you from undertaking your trip, please provide details of how the injury was incurred” Also it should be asked in the original form, that if you have received a refund, please provide evidence of this in the form of an attachment. Both of these would of significantly speeded up the process
Very clear what documentation was required and when they received the information they dealt with the claim most efficiently without any niggling queries.

Very good service from initial telephone call. Chose to receive relevant forms in the post. Took a week before I heard about the claim. But once a decision had been made the money was in our account by the next week. No problems or issues

ToOk forever to set up despite having Oncology reports from the hospital still had to get report from Doctor
