Fast efficient service

Easy to follow claims procedure, good communications with a fast settlement allowing us to bank the money then re book for later in the year. We've always bought travel insurance & this was the 1st time we have ever had to claim. So glad it was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Paid everything back, eventually.

Good service but a lot slower than expected, part of which was, admittedly, due to the medical letter taking a fortnight. An awful lot of hoops to jump through to get things processed.

Safety net

After being ripped off by a Greek doctor, it was a little complicated to get my excess back. The email I got from Global Response Ltd. had a phone number I rang Reactive Claims for a claim form was given a claim number and promised a form, one did not turn up. I had to get one from the website. I filled in the claim form supplied the necessary documents and within a few days I was reimbursed the full amount. So all in all a very good service, after the initial hicup.

Unnecessary request

During a visit to Australia, the day before I was due to leave, it was discovered that my passport had been inadvertently thrown away with the rubbish, by my wife. The British Consulate in Brisbane advised that I could obtain a replacement, but would need to get to the consulate the following morning to collect the passport. Thus it was necessary for me to purchase further flights, in order to comply with the Consulate's requirement. The Queensland police were informed and a report number obtained. The report number, along with confirmation of the payments for the emergency passport and the additional flights were provided, yet this is insufficient for the claims to be processed, as a police report is now required. I am unsure as to whether I would be able to obtain such a report and cannot understand the requirement for the same, given the documentation already provided.

Very helpful service

I was on holiday in the Canary Islands recently and towards the end of my holiday needed emergency medical treatment.My claim was professionally and quickly handled by the staff. Overall very compassionate and considerate as I was in pain with a abses in my mouth.

Overall easy

Initially I found the process of making a claim confusing, not comprehending the different companies involved and who you are actually ringing and, to begin with, being given a very negative impression of whether my claim would be accepted. However it subsequently became very easy once the hospital was able to deal with the insurers direct. I would commend Romy Killick (Operations Manager) as being helpful, friendly and reassuring. I was required to claim repatriation expenses from a third company which made the entire process more confusing still.

A speedy response!

I had to put in a claim as my husband was unable to say due to being unwell. We received back everything claimed for all. It the £99 excess. Very easy process of completing forms and emailing them back. This is the first time I've ever had to claim against travel insurance and they fill me with confidence should I have to again. I will be looking for a quote from them in the future!
