This was the first time I have ever had to claim for being unable to go on my holiday. I was extremely upset at missing my holiday and so grateful to you all for kindly refunding my flights, the train journey and the hotel. Thank you all very much indeed, I really appreciate your help.

Unable to speak to any body from Reactive Claims. After three attempts at pressing 1 on the phone line disconnects. This happened on every attempt at phoning. EMAILS were eventually answered some two weeks later. People who do not have technology skills would have very little chance of receiving any service. Cancelled my claim in the end and found alternative method of recovery.

My travel rep contacted the insurer after my injury. The medical assessment was quick and sympathetic. Once I had a fit to fly note, repatriation arrangements were made quickly. HOWEVER, I had to keep phoning the company to find out what was happening. The doctors had suggested an immediate return to the UK to seek specialist treatment, but the flight arranged was 2.5hrs AFTER my original flight. I questioned this but as I had a different case handler, I don't think that there was an understanding of the urgency. I gave up. The arrangements were, however, very good and afforded my great comfort on the 17hr journey.
Needed emergency treatment after falling I'll while abroad, called global response who responded quickly to my needs. Very happy with the result.

The claims form was easy enough to fill in and gathering the evidence to support the claim was not difficult if the receipts were available which they were. However, the travel insurance excess for claiming charges spent at the holiday destination was deducted from the smallish claim made, reducing the payout substantially.
It was very easy to get in contact with my insurance and when I did the people couldn’t be more helpful. They were calm and supported you throughout the process and were there if you had any queries.
