Okay but could have done better

Ok initial contact but was given wrong info for printing off correct claim forms. 2nd call, this was rectified very quickly by a lovely & efficient operator. After being emailed confirmation of claim receipt, had no contact for over 2 weeks

Claim sorted quickly and professionally

Claim sorted and settled within 8 weeks. Slow to answer emails but phone calls dealt with quickly and professionally. Very polite knowledgeable staff.

Far too much information required - you don’t deal with the insurers

I had a small claim (£120) for a 26 hour delay. I was unaware that I had to claim through a different company - reactive claims. They ask for a ridiculous amount of documents to prove a delay and will only accept it in pdf. I wasn’t going to bother as it was such a hassle but it was money I was due. Firstly they sent me the wrong forms and then They replied after 3 weeks to say I was only delayed 2 hours. I had to tell them to re-read the mountains of documents they asked for as it was clear it was 26 hours. They took another 3 weeks before telling me the claim was successful. It should be far easier to do - surely they can check when flights are delayed and then just need proof I was on flight? I will be looking for an insurer that you deal with directly in future as everything is based on trying to not pay you or put you off claiming.

you took too long to resolve the matter

overall i would not use your company agsin. Most of the work was done by myself to ensure 3 months later i received compensation. if i insure my car i would not have this much hassel with a claim.

Claim paid in two months

The claim took a while but that’s expected as I presume they have to monitor every single detail of the claim I was putting through. I rang Insurefor a few times to get updates as I was just wanting to know how far the process was and was kept informed over the phone. I’m glad that it finally reached payable and that my claim was paid sooner than the 7 days quoted.
