For a simple claim in required to find access to a printer and print documents and forms. Forms also need to be sent to my gp and place of work then posted to relm. The whole process is stressful and time consuming and I’m worried I won’t get my claim before my next months bills are due.
I feel the process was not as simple as it could be. After initially enquiring about the process of making a claim I was encouraged to start the claim immediately. Having done as advised my claim was delayed as a result of Covid19 delaying my planned surgery from late Jan 21 until 23/03/2021. During these delays I received repeated messages requesting updates & threatening to close the claim. Having submitted all the information I could I still had to chase up to get a decision as to whether my claim was accepted in principle. Because of a drop in my earned income sadly my expected benefit is only a third of what I expected and have paid for.
