My claim was complicated (medical needs abroad, cancellation of a subsequent trip, loss and damage to possessions, loss of income) and although a few things weren't covered I was happy with the overall outcome. It did take nearly four months to settle everything, but it was very complicated. They were easy to contact.
I had a terrible accident and hospital stay but the insurance company were great for organising the medical assistance and other help.

This is the first time that we have claimed and first time that we bought travel insurance online. One of us was taken ill and were unable to travel. Providing documentation was long winded but once we had proved that it was an unavoidable and unpredictable illness we were given the green light and monies were credited within 7 days. Would buy travel insurance via the internet again.
My claim took a while to be dealt with but went smoothly in the end.
