We had a valid note from the doctor telling us to return to the UK as soon as possible. As Insurefor didn’t want to pay out they wanted us to ignore the medical advice and stay on holiday. Communication was poor, and the medical team are not 24hours. Thoroughly let down by the service and have raised a complaint, fully intent to raise this to the financial ombudsman if needed.

quickly resolved and great communication
whilst their website said claims dealt with within 8 days it took them 10 days to tell me they weren't going to pay. No update or timescales volunteered by them, just send in your claim, make sure its correct and in the exact format we want or we won't even bother to reply. Whilst the service was poor, I gave them 2 because you kind of expect it from an insurance company.

Very bad experience, never using them again. Situation was very clear, but they kept asking for unreasonable information and documents which are simply not something which the travel companies ever release. Spent days over the phone to resolve the claim, absolutely awful. They kept delaying the process and acting like they don't understand the documents and kept emailing me (extremely slowly) over and over again about the same details, in the hope that I will eventually give up. Denied the claim several times for completely bogus reasons and had to call them back 9999x to explain the same things over and over again. The case was a textbook one and I had comprehensive documentation for what happened and everything was within the term (very clearly), but they acted as if it is not.

No any contact with customer service, send message to address, receive confirmation that message delivered, but no any answers, just ignored me

I found the process of making the claim simple. Forms could be downloaded online. There were clear instructions. Once I had sent off my claim form and evidence my claim was settled in just a few weeks.
It's not clear online what forms you need to fill in but they were helpful on the phone. Forms were lengthy but easy to fill out
I filled the form claim but no news since more than 1 week about reimboursement.
