Was told on a Thursday that my mother was end of life; phoned up on Friday,received paper work on Monday,took to doctors to confirm,returned on Friday to insurance company.we have today been informed our insurance claim has been successfully (4weeks) thank you

Look elsewere if you want travel insurance.
Going through a really bad experience with insurefor.com. Trying to claim for accident but Insurefor.com have been no help, they don't even now what's in there insurance policy.

Reactive claims do not live up to their name. Constant delays and poorly managed. I will never use this company again for travel insurance. It’s the first claim I have ever made after decades of travel insurance.

I am still waiting to hear after 4weeks.
I am still waiting to hear about my claim after 4 weeks. I am disgusted with the way I am being treated. I have been promised on numerous occasions that my claim is being dealt with and I will hear something soon. I have paid in full on this insurance policy and now they don't want to know.

Slow processing and can be complicated
The support is very good but in terms of claiming refunds and subsequent claims, it is very slow. It will take a lot of time before approval and refund decision will come out. In our case we need to chase and file a complaint before the claims was reviewed. They can be also inconsistent because they keep on asking the same things over and over again. But it the end they manage to grant the claim as discussed.

Not the quickest
Not the simplest or quickest. Never had to claim on a travel policy before, so nothing to compare with, other than the friend who I was meant to be traveling with. Her claim with a different company was settled in 2 days without any need for doctors certification as it was under £500 claim. Mine took 3 weeks and cost me for doctors signing form. She got full refund (less excess) I got refund - less excess- less duty tax -less atol charges. So I was £33.50 worse off for same claim and it was her that was ill!!

Forgot to get me home but made it all better afterwards
My call for medical assistance was my entry point. I was told a team would contact me to repatriate me. That never happened so I had to get myself. Pretty smooth claims process once home and no quibble full payment within three weeks.
